I would prefer any option that only has us with 8, not 9 SEC games.
If the SEC goes division-less, how will the conference have a championship game? I understood that the championship game option was only available for conferences with two divisions.

OT ESPN MLB coverage
Did anybody watch the ESPN MLB coverage last night (Atlanta vs Padres)?
The announcers did not seem to be paying any attention to the game at all. It was totally un-watchable (well, un-listenable, I turned off the sound).
How can a major network be so horrible?

Re: Good story about college football's continuing attendance issues
Without question, the live, in-person attender of football games is the LAST priority of all the stakeholders in the game of college football. And VU, being a small school, is at more risk that the schools that graduate the population of several mid-sized towns every year. They only have to convince...

Wonder how much we paid for some genius to come up with this piece of crap. Looks like a third-grader came up with it. Seen better looking “V”’s on a set of alphabet blocks.

Re: Off-season topic for debate: would switching conferences have made VU football more successful?
You can't just look at football alone, but the whole of VU intercollegiate sports. And #1 is the elephant in the room: VU has received at least a half billion dollars in cash from the SEC membership benefits (just a guess, maybe a lot more). Without the SEC $$$ supporting the tuition costs, I think ...

More than happy with this, if it means getting rid of Ticketmaster.

Well, I was discussing season tickets. I have no idea about single game tix at the stadium.

Expect a lot of "injuries" among the Georgia defenders, especially when UTK is trying to hurry up.

Re: Digital tickets
AD Candice Lee personally via phone (my land-line) responded to my snail-mail letter about the future of digital tickets. She said they would address the need for paper tickets on a case-bay-case basis for anyone who did not have the capability for electronic tickets, and that in the near future, at...

Re: Digital tickets
I got paper tix for FB, and the same song and dance about “never again”. That combined with the nearly doubling of ticket prices, was the last straw for me.

Re: Digital tickets
I declined season tickets because of this, and will probably decline FB tix next year. I sent a letter to Candice, cc mark Carter (NCC director). I’ll let you know if I get anything other than a canned response.

Sell the rights to Viagra, and put in blue turf. It's where losing SEC teams come to look potent again.

Wright came in with 1 out in the first with the bases loaded, and gave up only 1 run, and 1 run in the next 4 innings. Braves won 3-2, lead the World Series 3-1.

Make them play home games with no fans, like FIFA did to Mexico for racist chants.

Expect a slap on the wrist from the SEC. Lose two scholarships and no bowl this year. On probation, which,of course, means nothing.

Re: Taking a poll: Will Vandy win another game? Why or why not?
Not a chance. The real question is if we can hold any of or SEC foes to fewer than 40 points. Or defense is sooooooooooo slow.
