That's a really good question. I wonder if it's because he strikes out more than Duvall. Grisanti has fanned eight times in 19 at bats (42 percent), while Duvall has struck out 21 times in 96 at bats (22 percent).

You may not be aware, but Duvall is 4th in .obp, even after only hitting .150 the first month?
If you watch the games, Duvall also leads the team in hits robbed. That's the problem with batting average - doesn't tell the whole story.
While I agree Grisanti has an argument for more at bats, Duvall is not the one I'd go after.
