Walks allowed

Post by AuricGoldfinger »

The young pitching staff is ranked 10th in the US (1st in the SEC) in strikeouts per inning and 11th in hits allowed per inning (3rd in the SEC). But the staff is only 63rd in walks allowed (8th in the league). I realize there's probably something of a correlation between the first two stats and walks. I haven't looked at the numbers, but it does seem to be worse during the midweek games, which makes some sense given the staff's youth.

Do we play Belmont in tennis or golf? It doesn’t appear we can beat them in our “revenue” sports.

We should be very grateful that Belmont does not play football...lol...
