Re: Vandy-Arkansas thread
I think the refs knew they screwed up with the technical calls in the first half and they have been giving Vanderbilt a lot of makeup calls in the second half. That one play, the Vanderbilt player fell down on his own and wasn’t touched by the Arkansas player but they called a foul on him. All the close calls have gone Vanderbilt’s way in the second half. And we’re hitting our shots.

Re: Vandy-Arkansas thread
Was at the game. About the most electric I’ve heard Memorial in a long time. Students were great. Refs were a$$clowns. Black for Arky was an even bigger a$$clown. And the students booed him every time he touched the ball in the second half. Beautiful.
Also, can we please give Trey some love for the warrior’s effort he turned in during the second half today on account of Ezra getting the ejection screw job? Trey gets a lot of flack on this board, but he did exactly what he needed to in the second half and really contributed in more ways than one. Despite being undersized, he didn’t back down from anyone. Gritty effort. I’m happy for him being able to play a big role in the win. That second half was the best all-around game by a VU squad in several years.
