His status for the start of the playoffs is unknown at this point.

Yeah, it sucks. I was tuned in during his at-bat last night, and I noticed that he had a strange look on his face between pitches - like something terrible just happened. I hope it doesn't end up being serious, but it sounds like the post-season is in real doubt for him this year.

It's his time of year too. Kid thrives on big moments like few others.
