Schaller is your closer and Chandler is your middle reliever.......end of story.

After what Chandler Day has been through the last two years, he deserves the ball in his hand at crunch time.

All I know is that the very untrustworthy bullpen has suddenly become very trustworthy in the last 3 weeks, just at the right time. In Corbs we trust...that's the story!

Right now, Day is the better option. Schaller has been hit hard more often than Day, and Day has a better overall arsenal. Yes, Schaller has a plus fastball, but his secondary stuff is raw. Neither has above average command.
I'm just hoping Schaller is our closer next year. It's quite possible that he'll be signing a pro contract before we ever know exactly how good he can be. On one hand, he could refine his pitches and command and move into the first round. On the other hand, teams will draft pure potential when you can throw 100, and with one TJ under his belt, taking money off the table is tempting.
