A UGA player died back in January and another was injured in a case where a UGA staffer was speeding after a late-night drinking party. Another UGA player was stopped for going 88 in a 55-mile zone July 5. More recently, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution did a story about a number of sexual assault allegations against UGA players where no one was charged.
Kirby Smart, knowing he was going to be asked about all these things at Media Days next week, did a press conference Tuesday to address the problems. He pushed back strongly on the idea that UGA takes sexual assault lightly, but did say that speeding is a problem with his players that he's trying to get a handle on.
Georgia fans are very upset with the investigative work Chip Towers and the AJC have been doing.

NIL = hot cars = speeding
Entitled players + Testosterone + drunk women = sexual misconduct.
Some things in this world don't change a whole lot.
