UK tonight Key to the Game

Post by charlestonalum »

1. Rebound strong again
2. Hit our 3's
3. Few turnovers

We have to be a little bit in UK's head after our win in Lexington. We have had more time to prepare to play without Liam so we have a real shot. The place will be full of UK fans but so was Rupp, but hope ours show up like last night and that everyone else pulls for the underdog.

Two late season wins in a row against Kentucky would feel mighty fine.

UK is projected as a mid-range seed at this point, they'd be no worse than our first round opponent. Given the setting and the format, on top of everything else going on with this game it will be an interesting gauge of how well we might do if we indeed do make it to the NCAA's.

I think the key is for VU to score more points than UK. :-)

SEC Preview right now gives us no chance calling that last game a fluke and we are having a 2nd away game against Kentucky and they are mad

And obvious nails it: free throws and just plain hard work won it.

I liked the article I read that said KY was mad and out for revenge. Oh well, too bad, so sad.

I said I would stay away from the board until selection Sunday but here I am. That was an incredible free throw performance.
