Ambidextrous Pitcher

I was reading about the Missy State freshman pitcher who is ambidextrous. Did Vandy not have an ambidextrous pitcher several years ago or am I thinking about someone in MLB? Whoever it was had a special made glove that went both ways. I sure hope ambidextrous means what I think it means. If not, at least I'm not in Fla.

Found the answer. We did have a switch pitcher. Aubrey McCarty was a freshman pitcher in 2015. He threw 6 innings, giving up 2 H, 2 BB and 6 K. His ERA was 3.00 and BAA .095. He also was a switch hitter, getting one single in 6 AB's for a .167 avg. He transferred out after that season.
