4-6 weeks a disaster.

I very much wish for our guys luck in preserving their bodies, particularly Wright with his back issue, and hope they will land carefully when they come down. It's a wonder some of the time they don't break something the way they come down from being in the air. The other day Liam landed on his hip hard and I was worried then but a sprain is a big hassle -- your ankle swells up like a balloon and you need crutches; I remember from the one time it happened to me.

Sometimes Tai Chi or a martial art like that (which is at first about form rather than any sort of combat) helps you practice mindful stepping and maybe help you avoid injury if the beginner part of it is practiced.

I sure wish they could find a way to avoid injury and that's the only way I can see it happening is trying to land very carefully when you are up in the air. If you land wrong, that's one of the main ways for injury other than someone hitting you in the face by accident with an elbow.

Other m.a. forms like jujit-su might help you learn how to land if someone knocks you down if you skip the actual combat, which is what beginner level does. I am just grasping at straws for a way to avoid more surprise injuries.
