The numbers for this kid are mind-boggling: 5,248 yards rushing, 75 touchdowns in his four-year career, both of which are district records. This year: 1,982 yards rushing (11.3 yards per carry), 28 rushing touchdowns, 133 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns... and it could have been more. Austin-LBJ dominated most of its opponents so badly that he often got pulled in the second half.

The best news of all is that his commitment seems secure. The night he set the career rushing record, he spoke to reporters of taking his game to the next level "at Vanderbilt."

He has adequate speed (though maybe not super-fast), but has an uncanny ability to make people miss. Expand to full screen, and sit back and enjoy.

Nice poise and vision. Many of those guys he was bowling over looked smaller than him, but he doesn’t appear to be afraid of a little contact to reach the goal line.
Some of his subtle shifts that made tacklers flat out miss were impressive. He knows how to find gaps and use lanes efficiently.
One thing I loved: all business. Many of his end zone routes he seemed to intentionally take straight to the corner where he just casually handed the ball off to the ref. No flashy celebrations or showboating. I like that.

He makes really good use of his blockers.
I’d be tempted to nickname him “Mercury “ because he seems to have wings on his heels!
