The defense came out aggressively today. I like to see it - progress.
CJ Taylor is everywhere. Clifton making his presence felt too.

Wright is making things happen.
We are using misdirection too. Kentucky has a really good team and we went toe to toe for the first quarter.
We made mistakes. But I like the game plan. This is me praising the coaching staff for coming out non-vanilla on both sides of the ball.

Outside of the fumble, we played pretty well. Holding to 2 FGs is big if we can score TDs

The int is not the actual problem. It’s the result of the problem. 130+ rushing yards successfully. Oh, let’s call a pass we know our QB can’t make 30% of the time. That’s a play calling problem.

A terrible decision by Wright.
With a wide open back in the flat.
That is how you lose games. Already in field goal territory.
That’s also the OC going to the pocket pass when everything else is working. Crushingly stupid execution and call. Just why?
Why can’t he ever stay with what’s working?

Again, Levis and Rodriguez are pros. I am proud of the effort.

Now the OC has to give Wright some easy throws to keep his confidence up. And also so the box doesn’t get loaded with 9 guys.
I’m not saying don’t throw - I’m saying don’t pocket pass downfield into double coverage if you don’t have to.
