Khamil Pierre Moves Up in ESPN Rankings
The class of '23 commit has made a big move in ESPN's newest Hoopgurlz rankings released earlier this week. Pierre was #87 in the rankings when she committed to Vandy, and she is now at #63. She is a superb athlete and the most intriguing of our '23 recruits. She didn't concentrate on basketball as a year-round sport until this summer. Previously, she played soccer during the summer, which I really like. So many girls are spending their life in a gym pounding their legs and joints on hardwood floors. The shoe circuits have become, and are becoming even more, big business with kids spending their summers traveling and playing.
