Practice Starts Next Week

It doesn't seem possible, but the time is near. By rule, teams can start practice 42 days before their first scheduled game. Since our first game is Nov. 7, my country math tells me we can start about Sept. 27, which is next Tuesday. Now that doesn't mean Vandy will start on that day. You can only have 30 practices in that 42-day period, so coaches could choose to start a bit later, though I'd be willing to bet the overwhelming majority will start the first day possible or the next day.
Practice includes physical conditioning and skills work in addition to on-the-floor team activities. Basically, it's anything involving the coaches.
