Saturday weather

Looks cooler but rain starting early and continuing throughout the day. Who gets the advantage there.

We do. Run game should get the edge vs. the pass, and I wonder if the randomness that wet weather creates might disrupt their decision making in their mesh offense / ball handling at the exchange.

still forecasting rain that means fewer people in the stadium which probably helps Wake not that our crowd is much of a home crowd even during great weather.

Agree with goodtimes. Rain would heavily favor VU. Crowd size will make a minimal difference, but weather would impede a strong air attack. VU’s relative depth and strength on the ground would be a net positive.

Well, as long as we don't run three straight plays between the guards.

I wonder how the new turf will play when wet.

I think it'll be slick. I was at the Elon game and the rain stopped before kick off. However, many players were slipping on the turf early.

Rain may stop some of their air attack, but if they load the box and dare US to throw we are dead...

Maybe. Though the team has shown the ability to get wide on sweep runs and tosses. If Wright can hit some receivers and RBs in the flats, we could take advantage of a loaded box.

Forecast a bit better now: chance of rain during game down to less than 50%.
