Not that it matters, but didn’t we used to know the uniform specifics a couple of days before the game?

Good point - I actually used to keep a chart as to their record by uniform combination. Ok, I have some slower days. 
My guess is the Gold/White/Gold like the majority of road games last season.

"Ok" w/an all white set I guess- but hope CCL pumps the brakes there. Please don't go down the xCDM path of 5,000 combinations. Plain silly when great programs like Alabama, and UGA are never confused about what outfit thry're wearing week-to-week...

Totally unrelated, but I liked Northwestern’s helmets for their game in Ireland.

I an earlier thread I questioned white hats when you have black or gold to choose from. But I have to say, that's a sharp white helmet. Wonder if they'll have similarly appointed black and gold helmets?

Not a huge fan of the white helmet but the uniform all together looks great. I like the stripes and the font(s) for the letters and numbers. Very well done and kudos to CCL for keeping it simple and traditional. I am looking forward to seeing more options.

I think I like these all whites more than the ones from the early 2010's as the jersey and pants have the black and gold stripes. If I remember correctly, the ones from 2010's were all white.
As far as the helmet, every now and then I'd see an image of the new "V" and thought to myself it didn't look that bad. But I really don't like this gold V on the white helmet. I still like the star V the best. Last year's block V is better than this new Villanova V. I might even like better the woody block V with arched vanderbilt from the early 2000s.
