The Manning camp, which takes place each summer in Louisiana, exists for high school football players who want to improve their skills. As I understand it, the college players who attend (around 40 each year) serve as counselors to the high school players. Although it's a great honor for a collegian to be invited, and I'm sure all the attendees (college players too) will soak up a lot of skills and mentoring and rub elbows with some famous folks, the focus is primarily on improving the skills of the campers, who are high school age and younger.
