Futrell walks the first batter in the 1st and then beans the 1st runner in the second. 2 innings in a row leadoff man on base

Yup. Playing with fire with leadoff man on base but then he seems to bring good stuff after.charlestonalum wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 5:52 pmFutrell pitches out of trouble.Vandy187187 wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 5:44 pm Futrell 3 straight innings with the leadoff batter on base

Re: Louisville Game Thread
What's the over/under on the number of called third strike perfect pitches won't be swung at? Or perfect pitches early in the count to end up in disadvantageous hitting counts?
I'm going full-on "take or else" theory despite plenty people not in agreement.

Re: Louisville Game Thread
Vaz takes a perfect pitch for strike three. I was taught that if there are two strikes and it is close, SWING. Our guys apparently have been taught, if it is close, take it.
