Just a reminder, this is the annual Education Day game, and it starts at 11 a.m. on SEC Network Plus. It's usually a fun atmosphere with kids screaming their heads off at everything that happens no matter which team does it.

Early in the 4th, Vandy is handing on to a 7-point lead at 40-33. Occasionally Albany has threatened to pull closer, but so far we've been able to hold on to a 7-9 point lead most of the game.

A win is a win, 52-41. We didn't sparkle offensively, but we got the stops when needed.

These midday games heading into finals week have got to be tough. Glad they pulled it out and now have some time to work on things.
Kaylon Smith is now shooting 43% FG for the season after this game, and I've gotta think it'll continue trending toward 50% as she continues to get comfortable taking shots in the flow of the offense. Her shot is so smooth! The real kicker will be can they get her the same good looks vs. Georgia, Tennessee, etc. that she gets against Albany, etc.
