Poor Texas can’t catch a weather break

Took a 3 run lead on Miss. St 8-5 in the top of the 9th and was still batting when the heavens opened up at around 10:45pm. It’ll be after Midnight AGAIN, before they finish. This after finishing at 1:00am this morning. They have to be a tired bunch.

Are you kidding? They caught an ENORMOUS weather break. As soon as the rain started, MissState's solid reliever couldn't find his handle on the baseball and was throwing it all over the place, including the 3 run bomb. MissState had ALL the momentum prior to the rain.
Game 3 tomorrow after they finish this one.

I can't imagine they finish tonight. Storm is not forecast to be through Omaha until ~12:30am. Then they have to get the tarp off, warm up, etc. Better to send them to bed and finish tomorrow am.
