We are now 1/2 game behind UT.
UT, 17-7, has Arkansas and @SC left.
We, 16-7, have @Ole Miss, Kentucky.
Florida, 15-9, has Georgia, @ Arkansas.
So Arkansas, 17-7, has @UT, Florida left... the Razorbacks will have a big say in where we end up.
MSU, 16-8, have Missouri, @ Bama left.
Bottom line: MSU has the easiest schedule by far. We are hurt by missing today’s game. Arkansas has a tough schedule. We need to play well at Ole Miss - they are a tough team. There will be a real logjam in the standings. This missed game could play real havoc with the outcome... Take care of business and we will be ok.

Re: the final two weekends
One at a time. We still beat UT and the NCAA will consider that in seeding and delegating hosting. We just have to win as many as we can in the home stretch. Glad we won our series with UT and MSU.

I hope to be 4-2 in the last 2 SEC series. The outcome of the SEC tourney is not super-critical. The most important game for us will be Leiter's next start. Does he still have "it"?

one-and-done might be best for all concerned. That way we have a completely rested pitching staff starting the regionals.
