Yeah i was planning to go to the LSU series in Red Sticks with an old roommate. Just not sure they are going to be allowing fans by then - if they even start games back up.

The NCAA just canceled all "spring championships" - does this mean the college world series, the rest of the season, both?
Re: All spring sports through March 30
That is all remaining sports for the rest of the academic year. My son ran into a bunch of baseball players earlier today, and they were all pretty emotional because it's over.badgerbike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 3:35 pm The NCAA just canceled all "spring championships" - does this mean the college world series, the rest of the season, both?

What an utterly shameful post. We are approaching a bell curve that will absolutely cripple the healthcare system and we HAVE to flatten it so that people can be cared for. Look at Italy and then consider how much worse our healthcare system is.

How does one catch an illness from playing baseball against someone with it? The answer is that you don’t. They could have played the games without fans. I get that one at least. Maybe in sports like basketball with actual contact there is some risk. But baseball?!? Really?
Panicking pansies is harsh but not far from right.

Six feet is all it takes for transmission. A dugout itself can be a lightning rod. One transmission can beget hundreds of cases.
This stuff is not a joke you armchair epidemiologists. People are going to die. They are going to die miserably, and they are going to die alone.

That is bovine feces. Assuming China, a country of 1.3 BILLION, under reported their breakout by 500%, then they had 500,000 cases. Their healthcare system is a shadow of what ours is. Again, if they under reported deaths by 500%, they would be under 20,000. So you think we are going to have millions of cases and hundreds of thousands of deaths. That is simply sky is falling mentality.4timenatlchamps wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 4:35 pmWhat an utterly shameful post.
