Wow, just wow. Sat around for four hours… Thinking about it… And that’s what we did. We up and vanished like a fart in the wind.

Now I kinda wish we'd have bombed out of the SEC tournament, because I think we'd have played better this weekend.

Well, glad I went to Hoovr this year. It was a bit more fun.
That was good showing by the VANDYBoys this year. I wish our pitchers had stayed healthy.

And that’s the way the season ends, not with a bang but a whimper. Losing to 2 mediocre teams. Go get some talent in the portal, coach. Or recruit your ass off.

I'm likely crazy, but, looking at the big picture and a real shortage of offensive talent, maybe we were lucky to have as good a season as we did. We are in the bottom tier of the SEC in most offensive statistics and our LOB numbers seemed bad to me. Who is our hitting coach and should we be shopping ?

Thanks for the effort and the SEC Tournament title, Vandyboys.

Agree. Pitching depth wasn't there. Injuries to 3 of our top 4 starting pitchers really held us back. Bradfield seemed to regress this season. Not much offense outside of him, Schreck, and Maldonado. This team just had so many weaknesses. Yet finished with a national seed and SEC tourney Champs. Pretty good coaching job from Corbin all things considering.

Of course you always need more talent, but this team's problem is coaching. Vandy needs a new pitching coach, hitting coach, and possibly strength coach. And by talking with visiting team's fans, the word is getting around that the current coaching staff is not developing talent like they used to.

This is the first year where the returning players didn't look stronger and more buff. There are too many pitching injuries. Is this due to strength training or the pitching regimen. And the atrocious batting, there are so many problems beginning with pitch recognition. The prime example is Noland's last at bat this evening.
