OT: Is there no longer SEC Alternate channel?

Post by Go Vandy! »

Not listed on my Xfinity program guide for the first time i've noticed. OTOH, i don't recall anything being on there for... maybe years. However, for those addicts, like me, youtube provides 30 mins. of uninterrupted tiles turning over. I probably won't watch it more than 2-3 times a day. Not the entire 30 mins, anyway.

Ha! I used to have two SEC alternate channels on my cable system, and if they're gone now, I'm not surprised... they would show a game once, maybe twice a year, and the rest of the time, they showed the SEC Sports logo! Biggest waste of a channel I've ever seen!

I have Spectrum as my cable provider and just looked. It is still listed, when I go to the channel it says "Programming on this network is no longer available". I can't say I will miss it, on Spectrum when we had games on there it was like watching a game on a VHS tape that had been watched about 200 times before - the action was just blurred. Fortunately, could get the same coverage through the ESPN app which was crystal clear.
