There will be at least a couple VERY GOOD players.

Corbin attracts talent much the same way as John Calipari in Men's Basketball: Players know the coach gives them a boost up to the Big Leagues.*

Nearly 40 players in the Corbin era have signed bonuses of at least $400,000 and up to nearly $8 million! Corbin's Vanderbilt teams have averaged about 6 MLB draftees per year and as many as TWELVE in a single year.

And look at a few of the players he coached up:

Curt Casali hit over .300 in each of his four seasons, but was not the starting catcher until his senior year ... but he has been a Major League catcher for 10 years.

Mike Yastrzemski was ranked as the #483 high school player by Perfect Game in 2009 and he spent 7 seasons in the minors, yet he is now an established starters and has hit over 20 home runs in two separate seasons.

Tony Kemp was ranked as "Top 1000" in the Class of 2010, but he is in his eighth big league season.

Bryan Reynolds was ranked "Top 1000" in the Class of 2013 and has already been a National League All-Star with a long-term contract that will pay him up to $20 million a year.

Jason Delay was also in that Class of 2013, ranked as the #40 catcher coming out of high school. He was not always the best catcher on our team, but he is now on the Pittsburgh Pirates with Reynolds.

I could go on:
Kyle Wright (6 years MLB) was ranked as the #68 right-handed pitcher in the Class of 2014.
Stephen Scott (currently AAA) ranked as the #94 Utility player in 2015.
Connor Kaiser (currently AAA) was the #40 Shortstop in 2015.
Tyler Brown (currently AAA) was #99 right-handed pitcher in 2017.

Matt Hogan was the #56 Outfielder (#313 overall) in the Class of 2018 and he is playing in the College World Series tomorrow.
... well, some of them get away, although it took him 5 years to get in a good season (batted .137 for South Carolina in 2022).

*Difference is that Corbs is better at coaching his team on the field than Calipari is at coaching his players on the court.
