Originally from London (NOT KENTUCKY), he visited VU in mid-April. He averaged 13.3 ppg, shooting 42% from the field, 32% from three, and 91% from the line in this past season, his sophomore year. He has a long list of suitors.

And guess what? He's 6'5".

I'm not impressed by his list. First off, those are the schools who have "contacted" him. I don't take that as offering or targeting him.

Those schools are over 90% mid- or low-majors. And quite frankly, Louisville was about mid-major in performance last year--that place is a dumpster fire right now.

Could be off here, but doesn’t VU now have only 2 openings? I’d likely pass on Uduje. Not the most efficient option. Went 1-12 against Mizzou early last season (did go 5-6 at the FT line, but honestly think Stack could do better; also think the last 2 spots should go to bigs).

And guess what? He's 6'5".

On the one hand, we do have an openings and probably need to have a non-freshman option at the SF spot. OTOH, his numbers are not particularly impressive compared to say, Taylor, and they were obtained against very weak competition on a very bad team. Overall, Uduje is a 6'-5" scorer who didn't do much rebounding, assisting, or drawing fouls and struggled with accuracy from the floor. His FT% suggests he could improve on his 30% three point accuracy, but he was not particularly adept at getting to the line to take advantage of his accuracy.

I would not be particularly broken up if we do not end up with him.

There seems to be a discrepancy on his height. Most sites list him at 6’4 to 6’5. While a google search of his name suggested he was a 6’8” transfer
