Class of '25 ...the next John Jenkins?

Post by MrMemorial »

I haven't heard much about the guy until DNJ or somebody named him area MVP.

I don't think 247 or Rivals started a page or rankings on him yet.

LaVergne hasn't had a major D-1 prospect in boys hoops since the late Willie Taylor (Georgetown/VCU)?

difficult to discern from highlights, but he is only a freshman in these highlights I guess so there is a lot of room to develop and he already appear to be pretty good.

We agree on a lot of things. You just get mad and call names when we disagree.

I know you two have a history, but that was antagonizing instead of deescalating Jason, for a comment that really didn't attack you at all.

Thanks for the link; I like this stuff. Wish I could talk to whoever is doing his tapes - they really are poor. The photographer needs to back away and stop following the arc of the ball with each shot. It is really hard to judge his mechanics when he is suddenly out of frame and can't see follow through , landing or balance.

The kid was like 14 years old. It was the only film I could find on him. After this summer travel ball season there should be plenty of good footage.

He’s pretty young so it’s probably a friend or family member posting his videos to get him so early exposure.

Looks like all the persons previous work is from that summer but I agree they need some work. A lot of angles I lost the player.
