Beating MSU will be tough

It's hard to win a game after coming off a very emotional marquee win as we had against Kentucky. State is also a solid team. They had a mid-season lull but are on fire now, kinda like Vandy. Throw in that they last played on Tuesday, which means they have an extra day of rest. I'm hoping we'll be so fired up to send Robbins, Wright, and the other seniors out with a win that no one can beat us.

Fwiw, Vandy is a 2.5 Pt underdog in this game. MSU is playing their best ball right now.

Slowing down big man Tolu Smith will be key, State is not a great outside shooting team however they are one of the better defensive teams in the country. Being able to get into the paint either by post touches or off the dribble to open up our shooters will be key. Need Lawrence and Manjon to play really well and take care of the basketball, MSU does like to force turnovers. If QMB can slow down Tolu and hold him to an average day that would be a big plus. Looking forward to being in Memorial for it, hope our crowd can provide an extra spark!
