Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
Here is an idea: WHY DON'T WE GUARD CARTER. The guy is killing us. Already has 11.
And here's another: TRY BLOCKING OUT ON JACKSON. The guy has 10 points and 5 rebounds.
And here is another: COME OUT AND PRACTICE FOR FREE THROWS. We are 3-8 in the first half.

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
It is the free throws that are killing us. No way SC continues to shoot 3's the way they did 1st half.

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
Someone posted that we are better. We are better. But we were also better than several opponents we lost to in the non-conference season. Suffice to say we will lose to conference opponents that we are better than too given past performance.

We double team and it leaves their 3 point shooters open. I think that one announcer wants Jackson's jock as a souvineer!!

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
We go to the same lineup we started. Waste a possession on O. Luckily SC also lays a dud on their first possessions

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
I honestly don't know if a blind man could do worse with picking lineups to start games or halves. It's bad and it looks like our coach doesn't know what he is doing out there.

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
It makes a lot of sense for our best player Robbins to sit on the bench. We can also sit Wright to start too. Why? Because they can decide from the bench if they want to play or not. They need to analyze that we will get our ass kicked if they don't decide to play hard that night.

I'm trying to figure out if Robbins vertical jump is 2 inches or 3 inches?

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
I just don't understand Stack's thought process at all. And the more we keep losing that makes sense. I don't understand because I would try to win some games. Or I would play the young guns and give them experience. We are doing neither.

We have no offensive sets or screens.. Always ends up one on one.

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
Someone explain to our coach that losing the most games does not get you the #1 draft pick.

Re: Vandy-South Carolina thread
I know this is poor fandom and that we still may pull this out. But I’m outta here to read the latest Cormac McCarthy novel, it’s really good.
I too don’t get the lineups, the seeming lack of plays and the lack of consistent energy on offense. I do see effort on D. Nevertheless, even with the students away (at least I hope they were) there seemed to be very few fans in the stands. Not a healthy feel to the program.
