Don't understand throwing jump balls on 4th Down. Rather just try a long FG.
Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii thread
Are we meeting our misdirection quota? I feel like there’s been some…whether or not it has been a satisfactory amount is only known by one man…
Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii thread
Think Lea was hedging his bets for the deep ball. Either we complete it and are in pretty safe FG range or we don’t and they only get 14 seconds. Not what I wanted but I think there’s logic behind it.

Ok… come on! Let’s go… one more half. Play as solid as you did the last 20 minutes, and we’ll be fine. Assert your will VU!!!!

Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii thread
The misdirection quota is interesting. I think we are using the whole field - so it is hard for me to complain. I would like to see a tad more RPO running wide.
I also think rolling out Wright would bring up backers & we could hit some roll out throws. We are pocket passing more than I expected. We are not exactly breaking out the play action, fake run and then throw. I think we have had enough success on the ground that it would work.
Still, I thought we adjusted and did shift to what was working in real time. And we did not run, run, pass up the middle excessively. I thought the offense was much improved conceptually over last year.
It scares me how much Wright is running. In SEC games, he will get roughed up.

Impressive so far....KEEP foot on the gas now!!
"I have not yet begun to fight!" ....John Paul Jones
Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii thread
This QB for Hawaii is legit… need to keep the foot on gas offensively and keep scoring! The Hawaii offense will score more points with this guy!
