Maldo was the best option for a closer role. Basically a two pitch guy who can throw short stints twice a week. Kind of to a what Tyler Brown was .... Though Brown has a bit more velo.
Funny Schultz was a starter and Maldo was a closer, Corbs flipped the script... who knows why.
