Colin Smith CB
Colin Smith just picked up a CB prediction to VU a little while ago. He would be an excellent addition to the 2022 class.

Re: Colin Smith CB
Was just about to post this, will contribute what I posted in a previous topic: With a Colin Smith commitment, the 2022 class would be Vanderbilt’s best class ever in the 247 database at around the 9th-5th place range and 3rd or second in the sec (only behind Arkansas/Kentucky). Certainly a huge endorsement of Stacks recruiting prowess in just his 3rd class.
Colin is a super talent and should be ranked around 60 spots higher than he is at around the 120 range (should be top 60 imo). He’s buried on a really good high school team and is only gonna get better before arriving on campus. Super skilled shooter from three with a great stroke, and especially for a guy his size at 6-8 200lbs. Comfortable guarding 1-5 and has super good perimeter D for a guy who mostly plays the 4. Can finish and rebound at a high level and is a very good well-rounded talent with limitless potential.

Re: Colin Smith CB
I hope he pulls the trigger and signs with us. If so, a tribute to Stack's recruiting efforts. Go Dores!

Re: Colin Smith CB
Just think how good recruiting would be if he wasn't a lazy recruiter and didn't care about it?VandyBias wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:27 pm Was just about to post this, will contribute what I posted in a previous topic: With a Colin Smith commitment, the 2022 class would be Vanderbilt’s best class ever in the 247 database at around the 9th-5th place range and 3rd or second in the sec (only behind Arkansas/Kentucky). Don't know if it has been mentioned but his sister is a scholarship volleyball player at Stanford. Looks as if academics mean something in his family.

Re: Colin Smith CB
If he is going to announce soon and there are recent picks are for vandy, then there is a decent chance he will commit, if history is any guide.

Jason,
Thank you. I have not seen enough of your analysis lately. During the season I particularly enjoy such analysis. Keep up the good work.

Re: Colin Smith CB
Great to have you, Colin.
It takes time to build the right way, but Stack is doing it and we know he can coach.
Just hope Stack stays a long time to enjoy the fruits if his hard work at Vanderbilt.
