Re: San Diego
I don’t think it will come as any surprise to anyone that has watched the team the last few weeks that this stay in the tournament will be quite short.

Re: San Diego
Our fielders seem to be wherever they aren’t hitting them.
So frustrating.
The announcers keep saying how hard it is to homer here. That is good news for our relief staff.
We just need to throw strikes.

I certainly hope you’re right. But I think you and I are watching different games.charlestonalum wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 3:55 pmMaybe and maybe not: I think we win this one.UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 3:54 pm I don’t think it will come as any surprise to anyone that has watched the team the last few weeks that this stay in the tournament will be quite short.

Re: San Diego
Holton came in with a 24 inning scoreless streak. SD has scored in three different innings.
We are digging a hole. Kind of lucky it’s only 3-0.
But we need to get on base… we are putting no pressure on them.

Re: San Diego
I am aware that we are not allowed to be critical of our coach (he is allowed credit when it goes well but not blame if it goes poorly) thus I have decided that if we leave the regional 0-2, the blame must fall on Sarah Fuller, Malcolm Turner, and Nick Zeppos. That seems fair.

Re: San Diego
One of the worst things about losing is having to put up with the predictable arrival of the pink prick.
