The first inning, Bradfield had a 3-2 count and swung at ball four to strike out. The next two batters took pitches and walked. Our next batter swung at a low pitch and grounded into a double play.
The rest of the game, when Bednar was pitching, when we took pitches we drew a few walks, but most of our batters were swinging at bad pitches and striking out or hitting weak grounders.
Bednar was good but we helped him out way too much.
We swung at bad pitches all game

Re: We swung at bad pitches all game
On the other half the inning, our defensive shift was wrong in all three games against Mississippi State. It seems like a lot of routine ground ball outs turned into hits because our guys were out of position.
