As I type this, our pitchers have thrown more balls than strikes on the night.

That's pretty obviously not a good recupe for success...

Actually it was hit very hard, looks like it would have been an RBI single. Whether one or two, I don't know because I didn't notice how deep Bradfield was playing.

As for the immature comment.... Yes, he is and I said it in another thread pre-game and one this weekend. He is 17 years old that basically last played a season his junior year of HS. He will be a great one for us in a couple years but this spotlight is way too big for him, and it showed last week. If you are that emotional when adversity hits, and having a spat with your coaches afterward, this stage is too big for you right now.

It seems almost like we were lucky getting out of that mess at only 1-5. Okay baseball gurus. Do we stop worrying about this one and save the staff for tomorrow ?

Reilly hits the outside corner and the announcers think it is off the plate. Goodness. We have gotten nothing. Reilly really does a decent job.

We are down 5-1. It could have been worse. But it was bad. Free bases on walks. Bad fielding. Wild pitch nibbling on an 0-2 count. Not smart, disciplined baseball.

Lead-off walk for us. Make him throw strikes. We have been bailing him out.

MSU isn't scoring on Kumar tomorrow. So as long as we have Maldonado ready for the save we're good to go.

Of course, we're going to win tonight 9-7 in 11 innings, so it won't matter anyway.

MSU pitcher has not regained his command. We just need to be smart here.

Announcers making excuses for MSU pitcher - his long delay while he was getting run support.

I think if the O doesn’t get us close we’re going to bet the ranch on Rocker and a fresh bullpen.

They are warming up SIMS????????? Are you kidding me????? AWESOME!!!

Announcers are KILLING me. They don't even want to show the close replay at second.
