Congratulations to Miss State, they certainly rose to the occasion against 5 freshman pitchers who struggled to throw strikes, just one day after they couldn't solve Leiter/Maldonado, and one day before they get to face Rocker and the rested M's. I like Vanderbilt's chances tomorrow. The defense and offense will certainly play better.

Also whoever is scouting Mississippi State on defense positioning… That guy needs to be fired. The number of hits through the infield tonight is incredible

They have found a lot of holes. I like State's approach to hitting, shorten the stroke and line the ball.

I watched part of the game on TV until it was clearly out of control. I disagree with your conclusion. Our pitchers had a very difficult time finding the strike zone. Lots of walks. I lost track of how many. There were a few freak plays, like the ball lost in the web of our shortstop's glove.
