Again, it is good to win game one. But you have to win two.

We also won the first one against Virginia in 2015 and lost, too.

I didn’t love all the pitches by Maldonado. I was kind of thinking they might go with a different reliever in the 9th with a 6 run lead.

But who am I to question Corbin?

One consideration is that the rest of the bullpen now has an extra full day rest. 6 runs allows for a lot flexibility, and it's not like MSU was roping the ball vs 'Nado. Neither of the 9th inning hits were hit hard.
