Strike three rolls away... and Bradfield easily could get to first. Vaz gets to third. But Bradfield starts back to the dugout. It would have been first and third with one out.
Then Young k's. Man, we have made some terrible mental errors tonight. If we lose, we can only blame ourselves. Run on a missed strike three is drilled into your head from grade school.
Nerves and inexperienced- terrible combination explain it, but we still can win despite the mistakes.

I think Baxter will feel some pressure after this game to teach better on how to hit off-speed pitches. We are missing Beck's curveball by a foot.

Stanford has stranded a bunch or better said our pitchers have gotten out of a lot of jams. Small ball please and a couple of runs needed.

Good grief. Chasing in the dirt and watching over the plate. I mean, it had a lot of action, but man...team has made too many mistakes across the board to win.
