Spring Training

Post by DeefromAtlanta »

Plenty of former players saw action today.

FYI, JJ Bleday DH'd for the Marlins today in a 6-1 win over the Astros. Homered in the 5th off of Bryan Abreu. Finished 1 for 2. Nice HR video and props from Mattingly.

J.J. sporting #67, a great spring training number. I like it, he looks as big as an offensive lineman...I hope he keeps it!

Kinda funny really as his college number of 51 would seem like it wouldn’t be hard to get even during spring training.

I love the physical difference between VU #51 Bleday and VU #51 Bradfield. Ya gotta know that while Corbs clearly saw the obviously wildly different skill sets those two guys have, he also saw the superstar potential they share, and tied them together. Brilliant!
