They left out the most memorable game, second semifinal against Ole Miss in 2007:
- Jason Cunningham's 4.2 scoreless innings after spending 2006 as a student manager.
- Shea Robin's throwing error that let Ole Miss take a 3-run lead in the top of the 10th.
- Scoring 4 in the bottom of the 10th, capped by Robin's redemptive two-run walkoff single.

Thank you KA! I hadn't heard the name Shea Robin since '07. Cunningham was the story of stories.

Oh, what should have been...

The article left out the 1980 SEC tournament championship - the team lost its first game, then won the rest - the team batting average for the tournament was .369. Back then, only four teams (the top two from each division) went to the tournament. Vanderbilt scored 81 runs in the tournament.
