Re: De'Mauri Flournoy in the transfer portal
Just saw this - hate she is leaving; guess she expected more playing time or such, homesick ?, etc; however will stick to my belief if a kid doesnt want to be or is unhappy here then probably best to move on; do think staff could have really helped her develop; wonder if she returning home to Ga??

"The portal giveth and the portal thus taketh away"
Chantel Jennings of The Athletic: "1,084 women’s basketball players are currently in the transfer portal"
(It's a shame Utah State sucks at women's hoops. Most of their team went in the portal.)

1084 players/351 D1 schools = 3.088 players transferring OUT per school. I think the transfer INs will be much fewer. I would guess about 750 to 800. A lot of families are going to looking for a second mortgage to pay for little sis's college.
