Re: Intriguing development
Gino jumped in there with an offer recently, which won't make things any easier. Still, nice to see us on a list like that. Coach Ralph has obviously done some good work with her. ESPN has her ranked 5th in the class of 2023.
Ashlynn's coach said she's the best high school player she has seen since Stephanie White. There's some symmetry in there somewhere.

Yes, it's good to see us included on that list of schools. I cringed a bit at the Stephanie White reference, but even though her coaching tenure didn't work out well here, she was a very talented and admired players during her high school and college years in Indiana.MikeADore wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 7:47 pm Gino jumped in there with an offer recently, which won't make things any easier. Did you notice that...
... Ashlynn's list is in alphabetical order?
UConn (aka Connecticut) isn't her first choice. Rather, it comes before Indiana, Louisville, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Re: Intriguing development
If she came to Vandy, "Wow". Granted, her coming to Vandy is remote, given the offers from other top schools, such as UConn. However if she came here we would be on the map for other major recruits. Let us hope.

Re: Intriguing development
She started her season with a 33-point performance in a 81-56 win. May the basketball gods smile upon us. :P
(By the way, she was at UT for an unofficial visit when they put on that classy display at the end of the Ole Miss football game. I imagine she and her parents were at the stadium)
