Kicker Joseph Bulovas was a transfer from Alabama on last year's Vandy team.

Also, Penn State running back Noah Cain, a former 4-star recruit, has entered the portal.

The man who is now starting at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles transferred from the University of Alabama a few years ago because HE wasn't getting enough playing time there. He's playing this weekend in a playoff game, along with ANOTHER quarterback who just graduated from 'Bama.

So let's put this in context.

It is very plausible that a guy could be on Alabama's roster and have realistic hopes of playing pro but not be playing very much.

There first and second string tight ends are in the 7.

To me, that shows that no one is immune to the whims of 21 year olds. The starter exiting stage left, the backup looks up and decided he wants out too. Do they not like the position coach? Who knows, but if Bama can lose that level of player, so can we.
