OK, I only say this about once a decade, but: there is an absolute must-read piece in Tuesday's Tennessean about Vanderbilt football. Columnist Gentry Estes was allowed behind-the-scenes access into the pre-game and post-game meetings around the UT game, and he shares all in a long-form piece, including Clark Lea's fiery (expletive-laden!) postgame charge to the players. It provides a unique and rare insight into the inner workings of Clark Lea's program.
Unfortunately, it is behind a paywall... but for a sugar stick like this, the cost is justified. (Heck, you can subscribe for $1 for six months of access.) We give the Tennessean a lot of grief here, most of it well deserved, but this piece is first-rate, and required reading for true-blue fans.

Agree with you Brent: a good piece, a glimpse behind the scenes and a view of a charged-up CCL that we maybe haven't seen before.
Some of his talk certainly forecast some of the departures from the team we're seeing via the transfer portal.

Can't scamper or slither...but I used to swim.

I commented on this article in a post with the subject line of "The Future." Gentry has been as critical of VU as anyone, but fairly. When he says he believes in CCL, that says something.
