The speculation is that LSU will throw a lot of money at their top three candidates, all established big-name coaches in Top 25 programs now. That list would probably include Franklin.
If/when all three turn down the position, considering how demanding that job would be, as I mentioned earlier, then they’ll probably offer the position to Joe Brady, who was OC when they won the NCAA championship with Burrow at quarterback.
Brady is OC of the Carolina Panthers. He has no head coaching experience. I don’t think that would be a good choice.

He (Orgeron) may not be able to be employed as a college head coach after the NCAA is done investigating LSU.
