Re: UT player under investigation for beating a kitten
If he’s a player that the coaching staff deems essential to play in order for UT to win, this will be swept under the rug and nothing will be made of it. If he’s a player that buried in the depth chart and the coaches think he probably would never get to play much anyway, they’ll kick him off the team and make a big deal about how they are doing the right thing.
It’s the UT way.

Cruelty to animals is a Class A misdemeanor crime in TN, punishable by up to 11 months, 29 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500.
Do you condone animal abuse?

Yeah really - if cruelty to animals has become a partisan issue, it shouldn't have.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:57 amCruelty to animals is a Class A misdemeanor crime in TN, punishable by up to 11 months, 29 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $2,500.

Sounds like a very callous comment to make about someone (allegedly) abusing an animal. Count me among the "woke" or "snowflakes" for being an animal advocate. Jeez...

Well - to be fair to the "leftests" (sic), there's only one person in this thread who turned this into a commentary about "woke"-ness.
Anyone who didn't wish to this conversation to "turn" political - probably shouldn't have taken a pretty straightforward story about a guy who caused a kitten to suffer brain damage and internal bleeding after beating, kicking and locked it in a toilet and pre-emptively complained that the alleged perpetrator will get too harsh a sentence because of politics.

If you want to defend this kind of behavior, you should probably go cheer for UT. I doubt you’ll find many VU fans sympathetic to your viewpoint.
