Doc's sport service
He favors UAB over Vandy. That FAU beat them in their conference final, and they are in sweet sixteen. That's Vandy is in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Who did Vandy beat chop liver?

Re: Doc's sport service
Funny to call a team that finished tied for fourth, made the SECT semis, and finished with the third most SEC wins “middle of the pack.”
Uninformed drivel.
Regardless, the team definitely needs to bring it tonight to advance. My dad and I will be there cheering them on.

CBS Sports ...
... had Vanderbilt a 2-point favorite AFTER UAB got by Morehead State.
Then yesterday I saw the game listed as a Pick 'Em.
Now, it's UAB by 1 1/2.
Perhaps it got out that Vanderbilt plays better as an underdog and all the 'Dores fans bet on UAB to sway the odds.
edit: the CBS site says 67% of the betting has been on Alabama-Birmingham.

Re: Doc's sport service
I remember when they were called the U of A Extension Center in Birmingham. The only team they had back then was intramural parking.
Things have changed. This game will be tough on my nerves.
