Incidentally, Grambling is in the tournament.
Not quite yet. They play after we do today in their conference final. Incidentally, VCU is playing in their conference semis today and can still make the dance.
Only two teams we lost to are officially out of the tourney, LSU and Southern Miss. Only two more (listed above) may not make it. Every other loss was to a for-sure tourney team.
Not for nothing, as they say in Brooklyn, but the Big 12, greatest basketball conference on earth with 7 bids to the NCAA, got exactly two of those teams into the round of 16, Texas and K-State.
Kansas, Iowa State, TCU, Baylor, West Virginia all out

SEC was underrated in both men's & women's basketball!
That is an understatement.
It is pure bias against the South/southern teams. The rest of the country rejects southern culture.
The SEC dominates in football and baseball. I’m sure there are those with power that want to level it out in the NCAA basketball tournament. We did get 8 teams in. I just think the 8th was the wrong one.
Well, Lunardi was right again. I'm not sure where the idea that JL or Pomeroy tell the NCAAT SC who's in/ who's out or that the SC uses their sites to make their decisions came from. All Lunardi, et al do is guess. And they're damn good. If you're going to bet the house, cars & kids, you're a whole lot safer betting with them. Would I rather Vandy be in the NCAAT? Absolutely!! But if your NET starts off as bad as this year, we now know you're probably not getting in. The next time an at-large team gets in with a NET worse than 73 will be the first.
