Any Word?
Has anybody seen any news about Scottie Pippen Jr? I've seen quite a lot of announcements that different players are either returning to school (e.g. Hunter Dickinson or Ochai Agbaji), staying pro (Aaron Wiggins), or transferring to a different school (Kofi Cockburn). But I haven't seen anything from Scottie.

Re: Any Word?
I’ve had an eye on this site for the last 24 hours. Seems to be updated pretty frequently (yesterday and already today) to reflect changes. So far Pippen still appears on the list. I’m guessing if he is returning we’d likely see his announcement through social media or VU outlets before this list is updated, though.

Edit: of course, looking again more closely, Agbaji and Dickinson are still listed even though as TwoSaints noted, they’ve withdrawn. So, maybe not most up-to-date list.

Not yet. Tomorrow is the drop-dead date if a player wants to maintain amateur eligibility.

Re: Any Word?
I thought a few years ago they changed it so that if you were not drafted and you did not get an agent you could come back. See below for 2018 rule change.AuricGoldfinger wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 2:59 pmNot yet. Tomorrow is the drop-dead date if a player wants to maintain amateur eligibility.

Re: Any Word?
I think that was dependent upon a rule change that was never adopted by the NBA/NBA Players Association that would prevent undrafted college players from being "called up" to the NBA after declaring for the draft: https://www.mlive.com/wolverines/2019/0 ... season.%22. I also believe it was intended to apply only to those players who participated in the NBA combine, which SPJ did not.commadore wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 10:20 pmI thought a few years ago they changed it so that if you were not drafted and you did not get an agent you could come back. Well then, like the song says, "he's gone, oh ah".AuricGoldfinger wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:01 amI think that was dependent upon a rule change that was never adopted by the NBA/NBA Players Association that would prevent undrafted college players from being "called up" to the NBA after declaring for the draft: https://www.mlive.com/wolverines/2019/0 ... season.%22. I wouldn't have pegged you for a deadhead.
Hope you didn't bet your favorite Jerry Garcia necktie on your statement.

No, not a deadhead. The song to which I am referring is, I believe, a Hall & Oates song. Not overly fond of the song, but it has become somewhat of a family joke. Any time someone says something is gone, we all stop and say "Oh Ah."MrMemorial wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 11:07 pm

I do love the line "will be the devil to replace her!"

My first reaction was actually this late 70's Bad Company radio hit...commadore wrote: ↑Thu Jul 08, 2021 7:41 amNo, not a deadhead.
