If you're keeping score at home, it's like this:
Vanderbilt (2 seasons of play)
Minnesota (1 season, 2019-20)
College of Charleston (1 season, 2020-21)

Sign of the times: AP gets scooped!
a. That's OLD news. I reported the Willis transfer HERE 2 1/2 weeks ago:
https://14powers.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... IS#p147587
b. The story left out some key facts, the most notable being that at least TEN Gophers have entered the portal to transfer OUT of Minnesota.
https://bringmethenews.com/minnesota-sp ... fer-portal
With 3 seniors leaving the program, including one starter and one key sub (15.8 mpg), only Isaiah Ihnen remains from last year's squad. Ihnen averaged 2.8 ppg last season.
Willis and the other transfers-in will have their work cut out for them.

Sorry--I didn't see the story then. My apologies.Versus75 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 11:30 pm a. That's OLD news. I reported the Willis transfer HERE 2 1/2 weeks ago:

Re: Sign of the times
No need to apologize. My post was a reply to another thread. You wouldn’t see it by surfing subject lines.
I first got the word from my son-in-law, an Arkansa grad. I don’t think UA ever wanted Willis ... who is from Fayetteville.

Maybe he was following what appeared to be the most rewarding and challenging academic path for him. And that changed from year to year. Perfectly understandable. Maybe his favorite professor kept changing schools, and Payton wanted to follow him or her.

Xavier team captain Jason Carter has grad transferred back to Ohio U., his original team/school.UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:25 pm Wait. He’s returning to Minnesota. Never seen that before...
That was in early April.
He might want to get some shooting practice in. Ohio's gym is enormous even compared to Xavier's.
